The King’s Daughter
When you’re of the house of royalty,
It’s very plain to see
The King provides necessities
and grants the golden key
To all His realm and treasures there
Upon the land and sea.
He even has His angels where
They guard each precious princess fair,
Wherever she may be.
As you reflect on golden rules
Within His Book of Life,
You learn that one day He will make
Of you His bride, His wife.
The bridegroom comes and with His host
Of angels in the sky—
You’ll one day hear the “trump” on high
And rise above the earth—
A privilege for those who are
Of Holy Spirit birth!
The days of stress will all be gone;
The sea is smooth as glass
Within the kingdom of our Lord,
Where all have grace and class.
No clouds bedim that realm above
There’s only peace and joy and love.
Hold up your head, dear princess, now
And keep your virtue strong and true.
Heaven’s bridegroom has untold power.
And surely will provide for you.
