How does God comfort us? We feel comfortable when we are safe and happy and well taken care of. Does God give us comfort? How does He do that?

How God Was My Comfort

Once it seemed like everything was going wrong and I just felt like crying. I went away by myself and lay in the grass. I watched the little leaf hoppers and ants and other little creatures God made. Then I thought how big He was that He made all those things and cared about them. I was happy because I knew He could take care of me.

I’ve gotten scared before when I thought of people with guns and diseases and what could happen to me. Everything seemed so dangerous. But I prayed and remembered that Jesus was stronger than all those things and He loved me. And since I belonged to Him, I wasn’t afraid. He would be with me no matter if I died.
