Your Chance to Give

Look around your neighborhood. Is there someone stuck at home that needs a cheery card or some bright flowers? Think about others!

Do you get spending money? Instead of using it only for yourself, set aside some for others. Ask Jesus to show you how to use it.

Do you have extra toys and clothes? Ask if you can give them away. You can make a package for a poor child in another country.

When you cook with Mom, make something extra for a gift. Cookies, pies, bread, and canned fruit are very special things to give.

Start Right Away

If you want to be happy,
Then start right away
Doing some kindness
For someone each day.
Scatter some sunshine;
Forget about self;
Put all your worries
Away on a shelf!

If you want to be happy,
Just begin to be glad;
Keep thinking of others
And never be sad.
Don’t wait till tomorrow;
But start right away,
Just doing some kindness
For someone each day.

A verse to hide in your heart:

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”* (Acts 20:35)
