Notes

Surprise! This issue may seem very early, when in fact, it is actually on time or even a little late. The Lord provided the means to get this out to you earlier, and we give Him all the glory.

As you’ll notice by reading the contents, we decided to postpone our discussion on modesty, as we received several, “I wanted to write, but didn’t have time….” If you have been considering writing for this topic, please do so—you have time! However, please try to get in your articles by April 1st, 1999. We can extend the deadline for those of you who have a burden to write, but are running behind. We know how that is.

In the announcement about the modesty discussion, we noticed that we failed to mention about wanting both sides of the discussion written for—dress versus pants. We really would like to hear from both sides of the fence, from people who are honest in their convictions and desire to please the Lord, whether you wear pants or dresses. Please feel free to share with us… we don’t desire to have a close-minded, one-sided discussion.

Concerning other submissions…

Dear sisters, we need your help to fill our pages with godly, inspiring articles. Readers have written and asked, “If there is anything you need, just let me know….” Every contribution helps. Has the Lord been burdening you to write? Has He been teaching you about something that would be of benefit to others? Just send it in! Mothers, please feel welcome to write; we need Titus 2 women who are willing to write and teach us younger women. Several people have written and asked, “What about this… would you like an article on that?” We want to make clear that we welcome all articles, and will print them as the Lord leads.

If any of you have ordered back issues and they have not arrived, please notify us and we will try to send some out to you again as we have been having a hard time keeping up. Thank you and we hope that we have not caused you any inconveniece.
