Taking the Blame

We don’t like to be blamed, do we? If we do something wrong, we want others to forgive us and forget about it. If they say, “It’s all your fault,” it is easy to make excuses so we don’t look so bad. But have you ever been blamed for something you didn’t do? Maybe you are accused of breaking something, when it wasn’t your fault. It will cost all your savings to get it fixed. “But I didn’t even touch it!” you say. Then you find out that your sister (who always is in trouble and never saves her money) broke it. Do you love her enough to take the blame and offer to pay the price instead of her? That would be a lot of love, wouldn’t it?
