Dear Reader

Treasures of the Kingdom was begun with a desire to provide spiritual direction and stories that build godly character. We still are aiming to hold up the high standard of truth today, and would appreciate your prayers. Except for the Lord, this little paper would not be. We thank Him for His faithful and loving care. To Him goes all the honor and praise!

For any of you who are new to the paper, Treasures of the Kingdom is designed for boys and girls ages five to ten. Each issue usually has certain regular features and is published bimonthly. If you have questions or want to share a testimony with the other readers, please write. If you are interested in something for older ages, we also have available a quarterly magazine, Foundation Truth.

We are a Bible-believing family that belongs to the church God built, as described in the New Testament. Our family includes Rick and Krista Erickson and their five children: Laura (19), Skye (18), Joel (18), Kara (15), and Amanda (7). We live on a small acreage and are home educated. The publishing of Treasures of the Kingdom is mainly done by Laura and Joel, with help from others, including contributions from our friends, the Spinks family, and guidance by our parents.
