Publisher’s Note

This work does not aspire to be an exhaustive study of the doctrine and experience of sanctification. But the author has mined some precious gems from the Word of Truth, and what he has sketched for us is worth the reading.

If you doubt the truth of a second work of grace, do not discard the idea after pointing out questionable proofs. Yea, though an honest seeker strip away every apparently weak support, the experience of a purified heart by entire sanctification is still firmly rooted in Scripture. Pry off the shutters, tear away the shingles, and even pull down the porch, yet the house still rests firmly on its foundation.

May this writing cause you to want more of God’s abundance.
