On Your Guard

Dear Young Soldier:

Put on the shield of Faith today. Hold it up when the enemy sends out his flaming arrows. Then you shall not be hurt, for it will protect you from all trouble.

This is the shield of Faith: trust in Me. I will take care of every problem and need you have. My promises are written in the Bible for you to read. Look to Me and just believe what I say. I will take care of you and never leave you.

Never listen when the enemy whispers bad thoughts. Hold up your shield, trusting Me and never doubting. No matter how you feel, just decide to put your faith in Me. The enemy will soon have to flee away.
