Sunshine Country, by Kristina Roy, is the story of a young boy who lives with an old woodchopper. Go with Palko in his adventures on the mountainside as he finds a Book that leads him to heavenly sunshine. This is a good book for family reading.

The sequel, The Three Comrades, is also an excellent book.
