All through His life He had been "in all points tempted like as we are".... In this last hour of the powers of darkness they make one great assault on the very citadel of His being, and seek to tempt Him with the sorest of all temptations... the assertion of our self-will.

Perhaps there are some who... are not yet truly satisfied with what they have. If you throw open your heart and give up everything but just believing and allowing Him to do what He wants.... Jesus will reveal Himself.

Come, my brothers and sisters! Shall we not go to the Blessed Master and ask Him anew to enroll our names too in that school which He always keeps open for those who long to continue their studies in the Divine art of prayer and intercession?

If we only knew God and His love, how we would look upon every person we see as one... for whom [He] longs. We would begin to wonder at the mystery of grace that has taken the Church... as a partner in the great work of making that love known.

"I, the Vine, have taken you to be My branches.... I have surrendered Myself as God absolutely to you; I became Man and died for you that I might be entirely yours. Come and surrender yourselves entirely to be Mine."
