"Bang! Bang!" Ezra shouted. It was dark. He stumbled over something big and furry. He was smacked in the head and scratched with giant claws. Ezra swung his rifle as hard as he could! There was a yelp and Ezra tumbled over.

Because faith is essential to the spiritual life—both to entering that life, and for any steps of progress in that life—it behooves us to give it all the nourishment possible. Faith can be fed and strengthened, and thus will grow.

Blameless means without fault. You can only live that way by giving up your own ideas and trusting Jesus with everything. Even if others aren't behaving. Even when it seems like your job is too big.... If Jesus wants you to do it, you can ask Him for everything you need!

Bro. F.—Well... I should like to have a talk with you. They tell me that you sanctified folks claim to be free from sin, and I can't believe that, for the apostle Paul confessed that he had sin dwelling in him, and I don't think we can get better than he was.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, let us keep in our hearts a love for the truth and the crucified way, lest we be led astray by any of the deceivers around us.... Those who get grounded and settled in the truth will not be blown about by different winds of doctrine.

But in all this rejoicing, revealed to our wondering eyes, was a solemn reminder to those brethren of a different dispensation, so long ago, of the absolute need of doing the work of God as He wants it done.
